Arta Szathmary, Instructor
Arta is Professor Emeritus from Bucks County Community College as a member of the STEM Department. She continues to teach Introduction to Information Systems for BCCC in online format, MSE2400 (Evolution and Learning in Computational & Robotic Agents) and CSC1010 (Programming for All) at Villanova University. Arta is proud to have worked with MIT as “Master Teacher for App Inventor”. She is past President of PA4C, Community College Computing Consortium of Pennsylvania and Past Secretary of CSTA>>Philly. Arta was honored to be one of YWCA’s “Women who make a difference” in Bucks County 2017. Motto: “Rewirement, not retirement”.
James (Jim) Bowe, Instructor
Jim is an IT professional with over 25 years of experience, serving small and medium businesses in the southeastern Pennsylvania tri-state area. In addition to his consulting experience, Jim has over 20 years teaching children and adults on topics focused on STEM topics. As a professor for Bucks County Community College, Jim teaches courses in networking, database application design and development, cybersecurity and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
Jim is currently a scheduled speaker for the Focus on Security Conference, October 2, 2020 at Bucks County Community College. His presentation focuses on Managing Cybersecurity and the Proliferation of IoT Devices.
